Rob Edelenbos – Graphic Designer
No day is ever the same at Favorite Gifts. As a graphic designer, I work across different business units, which means I’m constantly switching between styles, brands, and creative challenges. One moment I’m designing a brochure, the next I’m working on social media or updating the website – that variety keeps things interesting and fun.
Of course, it’s always great to get compliments on my work, but what really makes the difference for me is the team spirit in our marketing department. We work closely together, everyone can truly be themselves, and there’s always room for creativity – and a good laugh.
Twice a year, we host our own marketing event where we brainstorm as a team and focus on collaboration. It’s this open, supportive vibe that makes our department such a great place to grow – especially if you’re just starting out in marketing.
Stefan Heggen – Finance Team Member
Together with a small and close-knit team, we handle the full financial administration and credit control for all business units – including international invoicing and payroll. The mix of variety and international scope within such a compact team keeps my work both dynamic and rewarding.
We’ve worked together for so long that we instinctively know each other’s strengths and how to divide tasks. That makes our collaboration not just efficient, but genuinely enjoyable. Over the years, we’ve become more than just colleagues – it honestly feels like a second family.
Ridvan Tunc – Sales Support
One moment I’m really proud of is how I’ve grown within the company. I started out in the print department in Tiel, and after three years I was given the opportunity to move into a sales role. I’ve now been here for five years and truly feel at home. It shows how Favorite Gifts genuinely looks at your potential and ambition.
There’s a strong family feeling within the company – I really feel heard and appreciated, both professionally and personally. And if you ever get stuck, there’s always someone ready to help or just talk things through. Here, you’re not just a number – you’re a valued member of the team.

Judith Spruijt – Purchasing Team Lead
My role as a purchasing manager at Favorite Gifts is both dynamic and creative. I work with unique products that bring joy to people, and that gives me a real sense of purpose. Projects for good causes are extra special – like the blanket and bag we designed for the Opkikker Foundation.
There’s also plenty of room for personal growth. I completed a Lean training to improve process efficiency, and I’m constantly developing my own leadership style. I believe in personal connection – a quick call or walking over to someone’s desk works so much better than email. I actively encourage this within my team.

Liesbeth – Outside Account Manager, Giving
What puts a smile on my face every day? Honestly, I’m smiling most of the time! I love seeing colleagues take initiative and surprise me with new ideas. Celebrations like Friday drinks and other social events also make work even more enjoyable.
I have a lot of freedom in how I shape my day-to-day work and the chance to expand my role beyond just sales. There’s also plenty of room for professional development. We recently kicked off a sales training for all account managers – an initiative from Favorite Gifts itself. We’re also encouraged to grow independently, whether that’s attending industry events or joining a talk or seminar.
Marijke Althof – IT Specialist
I work with colleagues from all kinds of departments – from admin and HR to sales and senior management – and that makes my job really dynamic. I also have a lot of contact with our teams in Poland, Spain, France, Belgium, and Italy, supporting them with IT needs. I really enjoy the variety of people and ways of working – it keeps things interesting.
What surprised me when I joined was the size and professionalism of the company. I came from a large corporation and didn’t expect a family business to be so well-structured and large-scale. Even our internal system (FavorIT) is impressively efficient and well thought out.
